Sometimes referred to as a "brow perm," the process involves straightening and lifting the brow hairs using a chemical solution, making them more flexible and easier to shape into the desired position.

Here’s a step-by-step outline of the procedure:

  1. Preparation: Before the brow lamination the eyebrows are cleaned to remove any makeup or oils.

  2. Lifting: A lifting cream is applied to the brows (eyebrow hairs), which breaks down the bonds in each hair, allowing them to be manipulated into a new shape.

  3. Hydration: At Cultlueur we add a unique step to our Lamination process that provides results unlike a typical lamination. By adding a brow- hair masque in between chemical solutions we not only see better lifted results but increased hair health.

  4. Setting: The brows are then brushed into the desired shape, and a neutralizer is applied to reform the hair bonds and set the brows in their new position.

  5. Nourishment: A nourishing serum is applied to hydrate and condition the brows, as the chemicals can be drying.

  6. Tinting (optional): Some people choose to have their brows tinted during the lamination process for added definition.

The results from the brow lamination process can last for about 6-8 weeks, with proper aftercare, which includes avoiding getting the brows wet for the first 24 hours and using moisturizing serums to keep the brows healthy.

This treatment makes brows look fuller and more defined, reducing the need for daily makeup. Results last 3 to 6 weeks, depending on skin type and aftercare. Proper aftercare includes keeping brows dry for 24 hours, using mild cleansers, and protecting them from excessive sun exposure. Brow tint offers a polished look by enhancing the natural brow shape and colour of the eyebrows.

What is the Difference Between Eyebrow Lamination and Nano?

Brow lamination and Brow Tattoo are two distinct cosmetic procedures aimed at improving the appearance of the eyebrows, the brow shaping and brow look, they are both used for getting more defined and fuller looking brows. These techniques however differ significantly in their application, purposes, and results.

Eyebrow Lamination

Technique: Lamination involves a chemical process that essentially perms the brow hairs, making them stand upright and appear fuller.

Purpose: The primary goal is to create fuller, smoother, and more defined brows by manipulating the natural hair. It gives the appearance of thicker brows and can help with unruly hairs.

Results: The effects are temporary, typically lasting between 6 to 8 weeks. It provides a glossy, well-groomed look without adding any permanent changes to the brow area. You can get this done at our brow bar or brow lamination appointment.

Procedure: Non-invasive and relatively quick, usually completed within 45 minutes to an hour. There is minimal downtime, and aftercare involves avoiding water and steam for the first 24 hours.

Does Brow Lamination Hurt? If you have had pain with something like microblading you will love lamination because it is pain-free.

Brow Tattoo (Nano/Micorbalding)

Technique:Both Nano and Microbalding involve tattooing pigment into the skin to create the appearance of fuller looking brows. Having brow hair is not required to do semi-permanent tattoo.

Process: Brows are mapped to perfection, the skin is number and pigment is deposited into the superficial layers of the skin using a fine needle that is machine powered.

Results: Results generally last 1-3 years, but require annual touch ups to keep the tattoo looking fresh and defined.

Procedure: More invasive than lamination, should be pain free with numbing and the procedure generally is a 4 hour appointment.Nano is very customizable and is the newest technology in cosmetic brow tattooing.
